The MRC is a purpose built concert hall for chamber music. The building has two main venues: the 1000-seat Elisabeth Murdoch Hall and the multi-purpose Salon. Its interior design is sumptuous with luxurious materials and elegant surfaces.

We designed major wayfinding signs with translucency so they would adopt the environment's colour and light for tonal harmony.

Destinations are announced with badges finished in high polish.

The destination signs work like jewellery adding touches of elegance and refinement at specific moments in the experience of the building.

For the back of house preparation rooms we designed door plates with message holders so a paper sheet can be quickly slipped into view for the performers.
